Summary Of Agreements Charles Schwab
We set the base rate at our discretion with respect to commercially recognized interest rates, branch conditions related to the extension of marginal loans and general credit market conditions. The current base rate is available below schwab.com/margin. Your margin rate is adjusted automatically and without notice to reflect a change in the base interest rate. If your interest rate rises for any reason other than a change in the base rate, we will notify you in writing at least 30 days before this change. For accounts with the Margin function, Schwab reserves the right, but is not obliged to negotiate another margin rate for your account with you or with an advisor who manages a Schwab account for you. If you order Schwab to transfer money to your Schwab Global account™ the money is made available for payment or financing of transactions. You can find calendar details by logging into your Schwab Global account™ www.schwab.com or 1-800-992-4685. At our discretion, the funds represented by the transfer may also not be available for the settlement of securities transactions during the holding period. Electronic service contract and user agreement: Your use of the trading session for long hours is subject to your existing account contracts with Schwab, including the Electronic Services Agreement. The information, messages, searches, quotes and other content you have during the extended business meeting are also subject to the „Use Agreement.“ As a Schwab customer, you have previously accepted the agreements that are available to you to be verified on the Agreements link displayed on one or more pages of the Customer Center.
SOSA and any future agreements you can enter into with Schwab will be subject to California state law, unless otherwise stated in another agreement, regardless of the conflict rules of laws. This is the case, whether you live or do business with Schwab in California or elsewhere. Unless a dispute is resolved by an applicable compromise clause, you agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the city and county of San Francisco, California. If part of the SOSA is illegal, non-feasible or unenforceable, that part is considered separable and does not affect the validity and applicability of the other provisions. Differences between trading days and hours can lead to billing delays and make it more difficult to register and settle transactions. It is important to remember that foreign markets can be opened at different times and on other days than U.S. markets. Some U.S. public holidays, foreign markets will be open and some foreign markets will be closed for public holidays when U.S. markets are open.
Before placing trades in your schwab ™ account, it is important to check the full list of operating hours for foreign markets and exchanges available online at www.schwab.com or by phone from a Schwab representative at 1-800-992-4685.
